The only change in the RFP is the extension of the deadline for submitting the proposal to June 30. This change affects other dates such as the deadline for submitting questions (updated to June 23) and selection of participating teams (late July).

No, in SDME 2020 there is no maximum footprint area, nor a limitation regarding the roofed area.
Yes, the teams can construct one or two stories dwelling units.
Yes, teams can design a single house or a multistory building and construct only one dwelling unit.
The size of the projects will be limited by their Net Conditioned Area. The net interior conditioned space of the projects, measured as a floor area, shall be at least 70 m2 but shall not exceed 110 m2. The exterior and interior walls, floor to ceiling partitions, columns, shafts, floor to ceiling closets, technical rooms, etc. are not part of the Net Conditioned Area.
The lots area is 20 m x 20 m. The solar envelope limits the volume of the projects. The SDME Solar Envelope must have the shape of a truncated pyramid whose base area is 20 m x 20 m, and top plane is located at 7 m height, and has the area of 12 m x 12 m.
