TheSapienza team is strongly committed to promote sustainable development. They firmly believe in more sustainable buildings and are constantly engaged in the promotion of an Architect capable of meeting the needs of all stakeholders, present and future.  The team want to make a positive difference in the world, approaching activities with the future in mind through a comprehensive and creative way of thinking focused on innovation, research and communication.


However,they expect their work to, deeply affect the entire building process and to raise awareness of the public about energy efficiency and responsible energy use in buildings by clearly demonstrating how high performance solar homes can be comfortable, attractive, affordable and smart. 

Their goal is to design and build an attractive, comfortable, affordable, and very high-energy performance Smart Solar Home, fully integrated with Middle East Climate conditions, able to achieve the utmost efficiency and effectiveness in the use of environmental resources.

Their project “ReStart_4Smart” has the overall objective of taking on the new challenges of the contemporary society that require a different way of designing, constructing, operating and upgrading buildings. The ReStart_4Smart will achieve the team goal using a strategy based on the following four levels:

  • Typological level (Smart Shape)
  • Technical construction level (Smart envelope)
  • Technological level (Smart Systems)
  • Socio-cultural level (Smart people)

All project impacts are expected to raise the awareness of the public about energy efficiency and responsible energy use in buildings and encourage the use of innovative sustainable technologies and the architecturally attractive integration of solar systems by clearly demonstrating how high-performance solar homes can be comfortable, attractive and affordable.
